I am an adventurer and enjoy the outdoors with all kind of activities and am a bit of a fitness nut. I do a lot of bicycling, hiking, kayaking and rock climbing in the summer, and cross country skiing in the winter. I enjoy dancing and am looking for a ballroom dancing partner to learn with. My home hobbies include pottery and cooking. Spiritually, I meditate daily and hope to integrate this practice with a more Jewish path. I also appreciate downtime with romantic cuddling, good food, music, friends and family. I am hopeful for the future and enjoy life.

Traveled extensively for my work all over the US, along with several major cities throughout the world....Although I haven't been internet dating very long, I've noticed two things.....First, many people require some type of beverage (coffee, tea, wine) during the initial meeting. Why are there so many thirsty Jews out there? (see below for an alternative idea) The other thing is, with everyone having a camera in their cell phone, why are there so many pictures with most, but not all, of the spouse "PhotoShopped" out?.......... Many have been suspicious that there's no picture on my profile. So far I've heard the following reasons why I don't put my picture up: 1. I'm still married and hiding my cheating ways from my wife. 2. My picture is so hideous, I don't dare show it to anyone. 3. My picture ages, but I don't (Like Dorian Gray) 4. All my friends will recognize me and talk about me behind my back. 5. All my friends will recognize me and try to fix me up. 6. All the people I owe money to will find me. 7. I'm in the witness protection program and don't want the bad guys to find me (or date me). 8. I'm a famous celebrity and if the paparazzi find me here, we'll never be able to go on a date by ourselves. 9. I'm really a Rabbi and my single congregants (hopefully the female ones) will want to date me. 10. I am really gorgeous and do not want someone to like me only for my looks (not likely, sorry) 11. I am a detective spying on my client's wives or husbands. 12. I'm a vampire and we don't show up in pictures....Feel free to add to the list.
7/4/2008 11:48:00 AM	Nice, well-educated, well-informed, well-read, good-natured, decent looking single Jewish guy who smokes. Like most people, I love music, movies, comedy clubs and just good old fashioned conversation (accompanied by a fine wine:-). During the hot weather, I am a big swimmer and I swim 90 laps daily, usually in less than an hour. When it is not pool weather, I walk 4.5 miles a day, so I try to stay fit. My politics are left of center; always have been and always will be. I prefer women who know that I am not a paying member and know where to reach me.I have found that over the years, I have become severely allergic to Conservatives in general and Republicans in particular:-)
7/4/2008 11:40:00 AM	I grew up in Northwest Detroit and completed my B.A. at Wayne State, publishing articles about music and film in the South End and Peter Werbe's paper, The Fifth Estate. I was a songwriter at that time and moved to L.A. to write song adaptations for Sergio Mendes & Brasil '66 and other writers under contract to him at that time. In addition, I finished my M.A. in Literature at UCLA. During that time I also taught sewing at a Jewish Residential Treatment Center. I also taught Job Search Skills to adults, and high school French and Spanish. I enjoy musical events and lectures. I love to go to concerts in Farmington Hills on Thursday and Friday nights. I enjoy estate sales and look for rare books. Finding a first edition is a treat.
7/4/2008 12:54:00 AM	I am an 18 year old trapped in an old, old body. I try to get it to move, which I can, but it now lets me know how it feels; however, I refuse to allow it to rule me. I love to get out, but with someone; I dislike going out alone. It's been a while since I've met a Jewish lady, but I am ready. 7/1/2008 9:46:00 AM	My name is Spenser, my Hebrew name is Hadar Yona. I was raised reform, but have started a process in the lifestyle as an Orthodox Jew. I am vegitarian, and do not eat any form of meat(no fish or eggs). I love children! I want a Kosher home, and I want to raise my children under the Jewish faith, but still have them accepting to others. Children are my heart and soul! I hope to double major in International Studies and French with a minor in Arabic and studies in Hebrew. My friends are slowly teaching me Korean, and Spanish, and I have been thinking about taking on Russian and/ or Polish in Grad school. Anything else you want to know, feel free to ask. I am extremely patient and it is near impossible to insult me.
7/1/2008 9:41:00 AM	I am going to be a senior studying to be a Pediatric Speech/Language Pathologist at UCF. I'm very outgoing and people tell me my smile lights up a room. I'm mature for my age, but can be very silly and others think I'm very funny. I am very goal oriented and know where I am going and what I want out of life. I am very involved in my sorority, with Hillel, and on campus. I'm home in Cooper City for the whole summer and am looking to have some fun. I'm just a nice Jewish girl looking for a nice Jewish guy.

I'm smart and highly educated, but not a bit of a snob or elitist; funny but never unkind; spiritual but scandalously irreverent; direct and honest, yet playful and flirtatious. I'm independent but not aloof, romantic and nurturing. Pleasures encompass Ella, Cole (Porter), Wolfgang, and Doo-wop; knishes, curries, caviar, and coffee; Betty Boop, Bergman (both), Fred and Ginger, books, serious and silly. I love surprises-- giving and receiving; affection, laughing and making people laugh, and a good fight for a good cause. I enjoy material pleasures, but I'm not fooled by them, and I don't need them to be happy. I'm adventurous, a calculated-risk-taker, and I love a good adrenaline rush.
6/30/2008 8:56:00 PM	I'm a happy, feel good about myself person who doesn't mind being alone, but am finding myself "lonely." I have many interests and always love to try out the new - places, foods, activities... The fact that our Jewish community is small means that I am fairly active. I sing in the choir and chant Torah (on Yom Kippur). I bake and possibly make one the best challahs you would ever taste, anywhere. My signature item is rugelah and people have been known to push and shove getting to a table when they see my desserts. Another side of me is my involvement in Karate. This is actually a family thing, although my kids had a head start. I'm getting ready to move up to a higher rank which takes focus and dedication. I am proud of this accomplishment and it has led me to understand myself and what I want in my life. I also recognize that I would not be the person I am today if I had stayed in my "old" life. Everyone can make life better. It's combining that with another person that I look for. Change is also good. We're not getting any younger. Let's take a chance. Besides "me" I have a son (22) & daughter (24)- see the 2nd picture. I have been divorced for over 17 years.

Are you looking for someone fun loving, easy going, kind to animals, a good listener, romantic, who loves to travel and adores children? If so, your search could be coming to a close! Am not your "typical" guy. I'd like to think of myself as a breath of fresh air compared to most others. My friends describe me as loyal, honest and reliable. I do my best to live a healthy and (almost totally) stressless lifestyle. Hope you do too. Have done a lot of volunteer work over the years including within my neighborhood, animals, synagogue, city, Jewish community, Interfaith events and more. 6/24/2008 8:56:00 AM	I'm a lover in search of a lovee, warm and compassionate, intelligent and witty, modest (sorry, but this mode of finding that special someone makes it impossible to show my modesty and still get the point across), definitely a romantic, and OH BOY DO I LOVE TO DANCE! Most of all, I both love and like my family, and enjoy spending time with them. While I am not observant (most of the time), I am truly Jewish in my heart and soul, and enjoy observing some of the holidays. A drive in the countryside, a meal at a quaint restaurant, perusing antiques, or sitting and listening to a great record (yes, I said record), all are enjoyable to me. I am an optimistic and happy person, and just enough of a bulldog to believe that it is possible to meet that special someone, fall in love and be loved, and find that elusive - but ATTAINABLE - happily ever after. I'm a mix of a serious thoughtful lover of great cinema, music of all kinds except rap, and a fun loving comedy wielding conversationalist. Travel has become a really big thing for me over the last twenty years and there is no change in this focus as I am learning to be a single again I'm a cute 5'1" green eyed dirty blonde who finds beauty in places where others see nothing. I follow politics very closely and am a passionate advocate for the State of Israel, the protection of life, and many other Jewish-related issues near and dear to my heart, although I always strive to be respectful of other people's point of view. I have very strong views about marrying Jewish, in spite of the fact that I live in a location that lacks a strong Jewish presence. Also, when my schedule allows it, I love to travel internationally.

I can be found wandering continentally with planned spontaneity, in Atlanta where the best friends are, back "home" where the heart is in Colorado (Vail is the best place in the world to ski - shall I be your guide to the apre-ski festivities?) or found taking an active role in the Jewish causes worldwide. my time overseas (including Israel) has been plentiful. Currently I am leaning toward wine, always indy flicks, the blues, the underdog, and reading alot about Cuba. My friends tell me to write because I'm not afraid of two-hundred word minimums - so read on. Or my friends say to go into radio (because "you have such a commanding voice.") Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know: Listen to what they AREN'T saying. Right? They've already viewed my acting and seen my stand-up; I fell. I've flown, free styled, been carefree and failed a few times too. It's been worth the risk. The payoffs lead to fortunes of great friendships, love, life, and definately laughter; especially if you too have had the wine, or better yet, Mojitos!

I love to read and watch movies of many different genres, including foreign films. I enjoy going to car shows and visiting museums and zoos. I am a certified Math Teacher in the state of PA since 2005 and work in a local suburban public high school and am passionate about my job. I was born in Israel, enjoy listening to music and surfing the net and have four dogs. I enjoy long conversations on many different topics and am proud of my Jewish background.
6/17/2008 9:37:00 AM	Okay so it has been a long time since I have been on this site and I think it's about time I add some spice, or at least additional information, to this description. I do still love having a good time whether it is at home relaxing or out with all my friends. I am outgoing and love to be the life of the party. I am very ambitious and have goals for my life. I am loyal and love my friends and family. I am open to new experiences and I am open to talking with anyone. I go to Temple University and am getting a degree in history, taking some time off, and then I am going to get my teaching certificate. My friends mother once told me that we spend 70% of our lives at work, so no matter the pay, we damn well better make sure we like what we do. Work and school are hard so I enjoy having a good time when I am not in either. I currently work at DirectBuy which is an awesome company and has awesome employees...myself included. I have been there for 2 years and plan to stay there for a while. I'm generous to a fault. I like to think that we can't control the environment but we can control our reaction to it. I love to talk...with everyone and about anything. I am opinionated but am more than happy to listen to your point of view. I love to shop, and the only person's money I spend is mine. I want to say that I am an un-complicated person, but that's just my opinion. My goal in life is to be happy. I love to laugh, and I love the people who make me laugh. Humor is a huge turn-on. So is inelligence which does not always come with a degree. I like to think that I am always with it but I am very gulliable when it comes to people I trust. I'm Russian...sorta. I can drink, clean, cook, and be a perfect party hostess just like all Russian Jewish girls are taught even though my parents always yell at me cuz I don't always act like it. I love to read, listen to music, dance, go to the beach or the pool to lay out and tan. I generally am always in the mood to do fun things with fun people. But I would always love to be with my guy no matter the time, place, or occasion. Okay so I think that is enough. There is always more but I gotta make sure there is something your still interested in :)
